Workplace Wellness Programs Bolstered In New Smoking Report

A new Surgeon General report on tobacco use shows that current smokers are 33 percent more likely to miss work, but workplace wellness programs that are proven to be effective in smoking cessation – including ones with financial incentives – straddle many federal and state laws that carry significant risks. But, as a Jackson Lewis report explains, there are risks to doing nothing as well.
