Union Showdown At Mississippi Nissan Plant

United Auto Worker organizers are pulling out all stops in an effort to organize the huge Nissan assembly plant in Canton, Mississippi. The union is getting support from workers and activists as far away as Brazil and South Africa, but the big question is how much support it will get from the workers at the plant in Canton. The company and the union are at odds about what’s required for a fair election. Another, and very different, campaign is taking place at a Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga.
