Sony Hack Will Change Hollywood Business

The massive computer hack at Sony is expected to result in “significant changes” in the way the Hollywood movie and entertainment industry conducts its business, says an article in the Los Angeles Times. There will surely be increased attention to computer security, but likely some major changes in personal communication habits as well. There will be less emailing and more face-to-face conversations, says one consultant, a former head of marketing and distribution at Columbia Pictures. It’s going to look “a lot like the protocols of people in the witness protection system,” he says.
