High Stakes Battle For NLRB Seats

Without Senate action this summer there won’t be a quorum at the National Labor Relations Board, and it will be effectively paralyzed. That would be okay with many businesses and trade groups, although the public position is they want a functional NLRB, just not the one the Democrats want. Labor unions are pushing hard to get the Democrats to do whatever is necessary to get the President’s slate approved, including changing the filibuster rules.
