Guns In The Parking Lot

Some 22 states have passed laws that limit the employer’s right to ban guns from company parking lots. In some cases, this has led to high anxiety over termination meetings. One company is reported to have outfitted personnel in Kevlar during a termination meeting, another to have scheduled a termination meeting at an airport conference room so all the participants would have to pass through airport security. More commonly, companies in the gun rights states have had to carefully consider and adjust some of their human resource and training policies.
