Gender Income Gap Persists, Undervalues Productive Workers

The income disparity between men and women persists, particularly in occupations like law, that emphasize long hours. Accoding to Harvard professor Claudia Goldin, penalizing workers – often, but not always, women – who need to take time off, or prefer flexible hours, hurts business because it fails to take advantage of educated and productive people.
