Ex-Employees Took Trade Secrets, AlixPartners Claims In Delaware Suit

Two former managing directors resigned, joined a competing firm and, according to allegations in a lawsuit filed by AlixPartners LLP in Delaware Chancery Court, took highly sensitive information with them. Alix claims that before joining the restructuring arm of McKinsey & Company, one man forwarded a business plan containing confidential fee and revenue information to his personal email account, and also emailed the other employee a list of private equity contacts cultivated by a high-ranking manager within Alix. Lawyers for the two former employees claimed the men were “mobile senior executives.”
