Employment Law In UK Keeps Looking Better For Employers

By U.S. standards, in the UK it’s an employer’s game. For common discrimination or unfair dismissal claims there are hefty filing fees, and recent changes in the law reduce the amount of the potential award for many claims and introduce a new “sift stage” early in the case, with greater opportunity for early dismissal. There are also new limits on whistleblowers. More changes have been proposed for early 2014.
