CEOs Urge Lawmakers For Bipartisanship, Stability

CEOs at a recent Wall Street Journal conference pled with politicians for compromise and bipartisanship to bring regulatory stability to their businesses. The changing terms of the Affordable Care Act rollout, the potential for immigration reform, and the financial deadlines looming for Washington early in 2014 were all major areas of concern for the execs, the WSJ reported.  But some were cheered when President Obama spoke to the group, announcing for the first time a new position on immigration: He said he’s willing to address the issue piecemeal,  as many House Republicans advocate, rather than by way of the comprehensive reform that administration has been holding out for.
