Banned Quarter Horse Clones Breed An Antitrust Suit

A federal jury in Texas has ruled against the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA), which since 2004 has banned cloned horses and their offspring from its registry. The suit was brought by a rancher and a joint venture that breed cloned horses and claim they are virtually worthless without AQHA registration. The Association was found guilty of antitrust conspiracy and monopolization, in violation of  the Sherman Act.
