Air Canada Reacts To Video Of Reckless Baggage Handlers

The Canadian airline company reacted quickly when a passenger took video of baggage handlers tossing luggage and posted it to Twitter and YouTube. The company began an internal investigation, and told news outlets that the two offending employees would be fired once the investigation is complete. The video showed handlers dropping bags from the top of a 20-foot boarding platform into a bin below, and now has been viewed more than 200,000 times. “We take matters involving the protection of our customers’ personal possessions very seriously,” an Air Canada spokesman said in a statement.
