Businesses Posting Covid Disclaimers

Enter at your own risk: From hair salons to stock exchanges to racetracks, more and more U.S. businesses are posting coronavirus waivers and requiring patrons and employees to sign before entering. This may soon be the new normal, says an article from Reuters, which also suggests such waivers may be superfluous, given how difficult it would be for plaintiffs to tie a case of Covid 19 to exposure at any particular venue. At the same time, where there was demonstrable employee negligence a waiver would be unlikely to provide a defense.
