Resign, Gov. Says To ‘Porngate’ Justice

Justice J. Michael Eakin showed a “remarkable lack of judgment” in voting for a Court of Judicial Discipline nominee who would have a say in how Eakin might be punished for sending inappropriate work emails, said Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf. The Governor has called for Eakin to resign. The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Eakin took part in the nomination of Karen Snider to the Court of Judicial Discipline, which would evaluate a potential ethics complaint against Eakin over emails he sent that discussed strippers, and included sexual innuendo about judicial aides.
