Mental Impairments Under The Revised ADA

In developed countries, mental illnesses account for a larger share of disabilities than any other category, including cancer and heart disease. Under disabilities law, in particular under the revised definitions and strictures set forth under the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act, passed in 2008, employers have obligations with regard to mental impairments that are both complex and strict.
