Appeals Court Won’t Stop Net Neutrality Rules

The FCC’s Net Neutrality rules have gone into effect, after a federal appeals court refused to place a stay on the changes while litigation is ongoing. Internet service providers such as AT&T and Verizon have sued the FCC over the rules, which will regulate the web more like a utility, and prevents ISPs from establishing for-pay channels with faster connectivity. The communications companies claim the new rules are an “unreasonable interference.”
