Year-End Bonuses, Holiday Parties On Uptick This Year

As the year draws to a close, more companies are throwing holiday parties and offering year-end bonuses to employees, according to a Harris Poll survey of more than 3,000 employees and 2,200 hiring managers. More than 60 percent of employers plan to throw a holiday party this year. About 46 percent of companies plan to hand out bonus checks, up marginally from last year, but respondents said the bonuses would be heartier.
