Which Company Has The Most U.S. Patents?

Two non-U.S. companies hold larger portfolios of active U.S. patents than number three on the list, IBM, which ranks first among U.S. companies.  But the biggest portfolio of U.S. patents is held by Korea-based Samsung Electronics, based in Seoul, South Korea, followed by Japan-based Canon. Number four is another U.S. company, Microsoft. This listing, compiled by MDB Capital and published in IAM magazine, includes seven new entrants into a U.S. patent top 100 list, including one stalwart Midwest manufacturer that was founded in the 1920s.
