WellPoint Inc. Fires GC John Cannon, “Without Cause”

WellPoint Inc., the second-biggest U.S. health insurer, fired its GC and former interim CEO John Cannon, “without cause.” Thomas Zielinski, a partner at Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP, will serve in the post in the interim. Bloomberg News reports that Cannon will leave WellPoint on March 3.
