Walmart Manager Fired For Chasing Thieves

A manager at a Florida Walmart was fired this week for  “violation of store policy,” after he followed out of the store two men who stole more than a dozen cases of beer and then jumped into their truck to avoid being run over. The manager, Mike Dawson, was stuck in the back of the truck for miles, until he got the attention of another driver who (pulling a gun) slowed the thieves down so Dawson could escape. Walmart said Dawson should have just taken down the license number.
