When legal departments work hand-in-hand with crisis management teams, a bad situation can more easily be kept from getting much worse, crisis communication leader Gil Rudawsky writes for PR Daily. But, expectations should be clear on both sides, and Rudawsky outlines what each side should look for in the other. “Save legal language for pleadings, not the media or communication to non-lawyers,” she advises in-house lawyers. ”In a crisis, a good lawyer will know less is more for messaging.”
