Union Profs Sue Over ‘Satanic’ $666 Merit Pay

A faculty union at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law filed a lawsuit claiming that by giving union activists low-ball merit bonuses of $666 each, the school was in essence calling the union and its members Satanic. The unfair labor practice charge claims that the dean “used his powers to set faculty salaries as an occasion to brand his perceived opponents as the Antichrist.” The university, in denying the claim, said there was another and simpler explanation for how it arrived at the number 666.
