Tweet At Center Of Discrimination Case Against Marlon Wayans

A tweet sent by Marlon Wayans comparing black actor Pierre Daniel to a cartoon character is evidence that the comedian has harassed and discriminated against Daniel, a lawsuit claims. Daniel claims the tweet, which included side-by-side images of the actor and the cartoon, not only was a use of his image without permission, but was used to promote Wayans’ forthcoming movie, Haunted House 2. The suit also says that the comparison inappropriately suggests Daniel shares the negative qualities of the cartoon character, Cleveland Brown, including “being slow and having physical and emotional problems.”
