Trends That Will Shape Practice Management in 2015

Attorney Charles A. Volkert from Robert Half Legal identifies four trends that he says will have a major effect on law practice management in the coming year. The first includes a number of developments that reflect the importance of letting the client drive changes in the practice, which will translate into, among other things, competitive rates, a deepening understanding of the client’s business, and providing a clear explanation of risks and benefits of and legal actions. He also anticipates some significant change in staffing models, greater emphasis on certain specialties, and more law firm hiring, with better pay and benefits.
