Trend Continues With Locke Lord and Edwards Wildman Set To Merge

Two of the country’s largest law firms are getting set to consolidate, continuing a trend of mergers in the U.S. legal industry. Texas firm Locke Lorde and Boston-based Edwards Wildman have proposed to merge, the firms announced this week, though a date to vote on the merger has not been set. The combined firm would employ more than 1,000 lawyers in 23 cities around the world.
