Target CEO Out, Five Months After Massive Security Breach

In the still-rippling wake of Target’s massive data breach, Chairman, President and CEO Gregg Steinhafel has been ousted. Steinhafel, a 35-year veteran of the company and CEO since 2008, has agreed to step down effective immediately, the company said, and will also resign from the board of directors.
