Study Finds Many Lawyers Clueless About Email Security Risks

A LexisNexis study has found that law firms are taking a significant security risk with email. Among the findings: Eighty-nine percent of  firms use email for business purposes daily, but only 22 percent are using encryption. Frank Strong, communications director with the Business of Law Software Solutions (BLSS) division of LexisNexis, details the major risks and hidden dangers, and what lawyers in their practice can do to avert them.
