Stanadyne Names David P. Galuska CEO

Stanadyne announced today the appointment of David P. Galuska as Chief Executive Officer. Galuska, who joined Stanadyne in 2012 as Chief Operating Officer, was previously with United Technologies Corporation, where he had a distinguished 33-year career with positions of increasing responsibility, including Senior Vice President, Operations for Pratt & Whitney, Vice President, Operations for Hamilton Sundstrand and Vice President, Operations for Sikorsky Aircraft.

Stanadyne also announced the election by Stanadyne’s Board of Directors of Dr. John A. Pinson, who has served as the Company’s Vice President and Chief Technical Officer since 2009, as President of Stanadyne. Pinson will also retain the position of Chief Technical Officer. Prior to joining Stanadyne in September 2009, Dr. Pinson served as Vice President, Diesel and Large Engines as well as Acting Vice President, Business Development and Marketing for Ricardo. Prior to joining Ricardo, Dr. Pinson spent 14 years with General Motors where he worked in a variety of positions of increasing responsibility within the R&D and Powertrain organizations including the FIAT-GM Powertrain joint venture in Turin, Italy.
