Sidley Austin Adds Top GE M&A Lawyer to NY Office

Sidley Austin LLP has added Christopher Barbuto, one of General Electric Company’s senior M&A lawyers, to the firm’s New York office as a partner and member of the firm’s global M&A practice. Barbuto spent nine years at GE, and prior to that Barbuto was an associate at an international law firm, where he practiced in the areas of M&A and securities law in New York and Paris.
