Senate To Vote On LGBT Non-Discrimination Law

The Senate may hold a vote as early as next week on legislation that would ban workplace discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. Laws are already in place to prevent employers from discriminating on the basis of race, color, sex, nationality, religion, age or disability, and many advocates view the Employment Non-Discrimination Act as a natural next step.
