Senate Judiciary Approves Loretta Lynch As U.S. AG

Loretta Lynch received the blessing of the Senate Judiciary Committee this week, sending her nomination for U.S. Attorney General to the full Senate. The panel voted 12 to 8 to approve Lynch’s nomination. Lynch would replace current AG Eric Holder, who plans to retire once a successor is finalized.
