Senate Approves Patricia Ann Millett To D.C. Court Of Appeals

Patricia Ann Millett was approved to serve on the D.C. Court of Appeals by the Senate in a 56-38 vote Dec. 10. The vote took place after Democrats changed filibuster rules to allow it, and only two Republicans voted for Millett. As a partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, Millett has argued 32 cases before the Supreme Court.
