San Diego Unprepared For Zombies, Says Plaintiff

A woman who was hit by a car during last year’s comic book convention has sued the city of San Diego, saying it failed to properly plan for a “Zombie Walk,” part of the annual Comic Con. Zombie Walk organizers are also names as defendants. The walk, in which people dress up as walking dead and march down city streets, frightened a child in the back seat of Matthew Pocci’s car, whereupon he drove through a crowd and struck plaintiff Cynthia Campbell. Pocci, who was charged with felonly reckless driving, has also filed a claim against the city.
