Russian’s Claim He Wrote “The Martian” Is Dismissed

A Russian screenwriter will appeal a Moscow court’s decision dismissing his plagiarism suit against Fox over the script for “The Martian.” Mikhail Raskhodnikov, demanding $655,000 in damages, claimed that several years ago he shopped a script with similar plotline and details to several studios, including Fox.
