Run For Judge Falls 20 Cents Short

A Miami attorney who wanted to run for election as a circuit court judge made out a $5,843 check for a filing fee $5,843.20, and despite his pleas, his name was taken from the list of candidates. Thus ended what he termed “his dream” of becoming a judge. The incumbent will run unopposed.
