Rebuttal To A Fracking Takedown

Last week we posted a link to a New York Times op-ed piece by an engineer who writes that methane gas is such a potent greenhouse gas, and the problem of methane leakage in the fracking process so intractable, that when the numbers are crunched fracking comes out worse than coal as a contributor to global warming. That article got a good deal of attention, including a number of rebuttals to its major premise.
