Commentator Timothy Noah says there was always something of a conservative streak in Nader. It just got more explicit in his new book, “Unstoppable,” where Nader details several areas where he sees a convergence of left and right, with a common enemy labeled “corporatism.” The book jacket has favorable blurbs from anti-tax crusader Grover Norquist and anti-immigration activist Ron Unz. “To some extent,” Noah writes, “when Nader thinks he’s talking to conservatives, he’s actually talking to the quirky conservative within himself.”
