R. Scott Wood to GC at Aequitas Capital

Portland, Ore.-based alternative asset management company Aequitas Capital has hired R. Scott Wood as general counsel. Prior to joining Aequitas, Wood served as general counsel for Holiday Retirement, and for Golfsmith Golf & Tennis. He also was associate general counsel and vice president of information technology at FranklinCovey Co. Before entering business law, Mr. Wood was a litigator at the firm of Epperson & Rencher P.C. (now Epperson & Owens) in Salt Lake City, Utah.
