Prostitution Charge For Law Prof, Former Dean

A former dean for Southern Methodist Law School was arrested and booked on a prostitution charge. John Attanasio served as dean from 1998 to 2013, when his contract was not renewed. Attanasio remained the school’s Judge William Hawley Atwell Chair of Constitutional Law and is listed as professor for classes this semester, though an SMU spokesperson said he would not be teaching classes this week.
