Pro Sports Player Groups Add Support To NCAA Player Pay Lawsuit

The antitrust lawsuit filed against the NCAA by sports attorney Jeffrey Kessler, seeking freedom for student athletes to financially benefit from their image and name, has gotten the support of both the NFL and National Basketball players associations. Both groups filed declarations in court supporting the litigation, and National College Players Association executive director Ramogi Huma – who is leading the efforts by the Northwestern University football team to unionize – also declared support.
