Missouri Lawyer Accused Of Double Murder

A trial has been rescheduled in the case of attorney Susan Elizabeth Van Note, accused of shooting and wounding her father and killing his girlfriend, then using a forged power of attorney document to take her father off life support. Van Note was appointed personal representative of her father’s estate, until she was charged with murder and removed. The prosecution requested a postponement, and the Missouri attorney general will now assist local prosecutors with the case. No new trial date has been set.
