Patton Boggs’ Thomas H. Boggs Jr. Dead At 73

Thomas H. Boggs Jr., lawyer, lobbyist and political fund-raiser, died Sept. 15 at his home in Chevy Chase, reportedly of a heart attack. He was 73. Boggs has been named to The National Law Journal’s list of the top 100 lawyers in the United States every year since the list’s inception. Before joining Patton Boggs, where he served as chairman of Patton Boggs’ Executive Committes, Boggs was an economist for the Joint Economic Committee and in the Executive Office of the President as a coordinator for the National Defense Executive Reserve.
