Patton Boggs Exodus Continues, Even After Merger

Cementing its merger with Squire Sanders is not staunching the Patton Boggs exodus, the Wall Street Journal reports. Earlier this year eight partners left the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, and just days after the June 1 merger was complete two members of Patton Boggs’s executive committee took their official leave. Jennifer Richter, a co-head of Patton Boggs’s technology and communications department, is joining Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. Aviation lawyer Gregory Walden and policy specialist Melanie Goggins are also leaving the firm.
