Attention is once again focused on working conditions for interns, with the death in London of a Bank of America intern who collapsed in the shower, allegedly after working a 72-hour stretch. The tight job market, good pay for interns in top positions and the prospect for a highly lucrative career in the financial industry later on, have created a situation ripe for exploitation, according to critics.
