Obama Budget Prioritizes Cybersecurity

The White House is asking for $14 billion to support efforts to protect the country from cyberattacks. The budget proposal would also set aside $105 million to establish or enhance cyber teams in 25 agencies. “No system is immune to infiltration by those seeking to steal commercial or government information and property or perpetrate malicious and disruptive activity,” said the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in its budget summary.
