‘Nut Rage’ Exec Could See Three Years In Prison

South Korean prosecutors are seeking a three-year sentence for a Korean Air executive who threw a fit after being served nuts improperly, grounding a flight about to take off, and then allegedly worked to cover up the incident. Cho Hyun-ah, vice president of Korean Air and daughter of the airline’s CEO, has pled not guilty to four charges, saying her behavior on the Dec. 5 flight was the result of her devotion to her work. Prosecutors are seeking two-year sentences for another Korean Air employee who they say pressured the plane’s crew to lie to investigators, and an official from South Korea’s travel ministry who allegedly leaked information about the government’s review.
