New Patent: Links In Emails Become Grist For A Google Algorithm

Google has panted a system called “Encouraging Conversation in a Social Network.” It activates when someone sends an email that includes a link (as when you prompt a colleague to “check out this book review”). A pop-up would appear in the recipient’s email, suggesting “how to share the link on social media,” explains a post from Cislo & Thomas LLP. “Essentially, the system recommends social activity data and social conversation to a user and is able to determine knowledge data describing topics related to the message.”
