Kasowitz attended Cornell Law School and founded his firm in 1993. It has grown into a 270-lawyer operation that both sues and defends large companies. According to the Journal, Kasowitz rules the firm like a “benevolent dictator” who rewards those he respects, “and has little patience for those he doesn’t.”
