Mass. May Seek To Ban ‘Beauty Bias’

Massachusetts may join Michigan in banning workplace discrimination based on height and weight. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has already taken the position that weight discrimination may violate the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the American Medical Association’s recent decision to declare obesity a disease may add fuel to the cases.
