Longtime GC of Temple University, George Moore, Dies

George Moore, who served as general counsel of Philadelphia’s Temple University since 1989, succumbed to cancer on March 2, according to the college. Moore also served as Temple’s senior vice president and as secretary to the Board of Trustees, was named senior vice president back in 2007 and also served as an adjunct professor at Temple’s Beasley School of Law. Moore, who obtained his law degree from Temple, for more than a decade worked as a partner at the Philadelphia law firm Ballard Spahr.
