Lizbeth Ellis To GC For NMSU

Lizbeth Ellis, interim associate dean for academics at New Mexico State University’s College of Business, has been named the university’s new general counsel as of July 1. As general counsel, Ellis will serve as NMSU’s primary attorney, providing legal guidance and services. She has been a professor of business law at NMSU since 1989. In 2004, she became head of the department of finance in NMSU’s College of Business. In 2013, she was named the college’s interim associate dean for academics.
